Team Principal Sergio Matteo Savaresi – Full Professor and Technical Advisor

Hailing from Politecnico di Milano – one of Europe’s leading technical universities – PoliMOVE was established to explore and advance autonomous driving in the extreme environment of motorsport. 

The team, composed of PhD candidates, researchers, engineers, and graduate students, focuses on different modules of the autonomous driving software stack to ensure high-performance operation. With access to state-of-the-art laboratories and infrastructure, PoliMOVE is able to design, simulate, and deploy innovative solutions with speed and precision. 
 

The first autonomous team to complete the renowned Goodwood Festival of Speed hillclimb, PoliMOVE has consistently delivered impressive results on track and aims to become a reference point for autonomous vehicle innovation through its efforts in A2RL Season 2.

PoliMOVE’s A2RL Avatar, EVA, is named after the female goddesses from ancient Greek and Roman mythology and partly inspired by the famous anime Neon Genesis Evangelion.
