Hailing from Hungary, RAPSON follows in the footsteps of national algorithmic icons like John von Neumann and Paul Erdős and the budding start-up culture of the capital, Budapest. RAPSON blends two high-performance cultures: professional software engineering and professional motorsport. Its development workflows follow industry best practices – version control, CI/CD, simulation-backed testing – while its operations team brings race-day precision to every deployment.
The team started at the HUMDA Lab in Season 1, securing “Best Rookie Team” before officially spinning out in 2025. For Season 2, RAPSON is looking to enhance its car's decision-making, particularly for overtaking and edge-case behavior.
