As Season 2 of the Abu Dhabi Autonomous Racing League (A2RL) roars into gear, we’re proud to introduce the 11 world-class teams set to compete in the world’s most advanced autonomous racing competition.

Representing a dynamic mix of universities, research institutions, and private innovators, these teams bring not only technical brilliance but also bold ideas, cutting-edge software, and a shared passion for pushing the limits of autonomous performance.

Here’s a closer look at the global grid for 2025 — starting with the legacy teams from 2024:

 

PoliMOVE – Italy

Backed by the Polytechnic University of Milan, PoliMOVE are pioneers in autonomous racing with a proven track record of high-speed AI control. Known for pushing hardware to its limits, they return to A2RL ready to raise the bar once again.

TUM Autonomous Motorsport – Germany

Representing the Technical University of Munich, season 1 2024 champions TUM brings a legacy of robotics and control excellence to the track. Their precision-engineered systems and academic rigor make them one of the most technically formidable teams in the league.

Fly Eagle – China 

Representing one of China’s top research institutions, Fly Eagle brings fierce determination and technical prowess. Their focus on sensor fusion and dynamic control systems makes them one to watch in 2025.

 

Kinetiz – UAE / Singapore

A unique cross-continental collaboration, Kinetiz unites engineering minds from the UAE and Singapore. Their innovative approach to software-defined racing blends agility, experimentation, and strategic AI deployment.

HUMDA – Hungary

TII Racing – UAE

Powered by the Technology Innovation Institute in Abu Dhabi, TII Racing is the UAE’s homegrown contender. Blending AI research with motorsport ambition, they represent the future of Emirati innovation in mobility and autonomy.

As we head towards the opening round on 15th November 2025 at Yas Marina Circuit, each team is refining its algorithms, testing its systems, and preparing for a season where every millisecond — and every line of code — counts.
